As the Head of Trading/Sportsbook your focus will be to lead and develop the core trading business managing internal and external teams by ensuring the delivery of a competitive and innovative online Sportsbook offering. You will be responsible for monitoring and developing the trading team’s KPIs managing Sportsbook targets (Stakes, GWR, Margin…). You’ll also be in charge of working closely with the Tech department in the development of the product and optimization of the trading platform, maintaining communication with all parties involved (Marketing, Content, CS/PS, Legal…)

What will you be doing?

• Trading Team Management:
• Management of a team of 5 direct reports and 35 indirect staff (Internal teams and external provider)
• Defining the sportsbook pricing strategy and betting offer in line with our commercial targets
• Coaching the trading managers to deliver a competitive and best pricing Sportsbook offering, including range of sports, events, depth of markets within pre-match and in-play products
• Benchmarking & conducting competitor analyses to offer the best sportsbook experience to our customers
• Continuously monitoring and improving the trading platforms effectiveness
• In charge of the relationship with 3rd parties (Odds providers, sportsbook suppliers…)

• Product and Project Management:
• Optimizing our sportsbook product (bet builder, cash out…) to drive our platform growth
• Arbitrating the roadmap with the Tech teams
• Immersing yourself in our world by being kept up to date with best sportsbook practices.
• Generating new product ideas, recommending enhancements to existing products
• Performing functional testing of several products and raise defects on Jira

• Performance Analysis and Review
• Producing daily/weekly/monthly performance analysis for all sports
• Defining action plans to increase our business performances
• Establishing regular forums with Tech / Marketing / Crm / Customer Services/ Legal
• Optimizing risk management strategies, contributing to the development of risk management tools

Profil recherché

What are your skills?

• Graduated from an engineering or business school
• Good understanding of the Online Sports Betting business
• Knowledge in new technologies and technical resources to improve product performances
• Solid mathematical background
• High level of curiosity (especially for tech tools) and customer focus mindset
• Deep knowledge of Excel and at ease Office 365 tools (OneNote, Teams…)
• At ease with tech environment and product management. A basic IT knowledge (basic code reading, JSON/XML file format understanding, SQL basic knowledge…) is a strong plus
• Native French Speaker and Fluent in English (CEFR B2 level at least)
