Compétences Phenix is looking for a Performance Manager (H/F) for an Esport Team. (BERLIN)

Reporting to the Country Manager, the Performance Manager’s main missions are:

• providing players with top-notch physical training, mental training and nutrition programs geared towards performance
• evaluating, monitoring and improving the health and performance of the players outside of the game (eg. physical and mental abilities) with external help (physio, doctors, etc.)
• designing an evaluation system for the recruitment process regarding outside of the game abilities and participating in that process in coordination with the rest of the staff
• making recommendations regarding the needed performance resources (eg. gym equipment, softwares, staff etc.)

The Performance Manager is notably responsible for:

• organizing and supervising all training sessions, directly or with external help within budget constraints set with the General Manager
• organizing and supervising team building activities to strengthen the teams’ atmosphere
• organizing and supervising bootcamps (location, programs, etc.), including all training sessions and team building activities
• making recommendations regarding player and staff recruitment
• creating and updating the teams’ schedules in coordination with the rest of the staff, including all training sessions, media sessions, meal times, etc.
• providing management with a comprehensible roadmap including objectives for every player and a budget and reporting about it weekly

Profil recherché

Profile:

• 5+ years of experience in a very competitive sports environment (eg. former professional player or part of professional team staff)
• must be able to relocate to Berlin
• professional network in Berlin
• speaks English and German fluently
• excellent interpersonal skills
• a genuine interest in esports, gaming
